Plexamp is playing back my FLAC-88kHz files with Direct Play correctly, however, my external DAC (RME-ADI-2 DAC) which is connected to my iPad using the USB-Lighting adapter, is recognizing the input signal at 48kHz. This does not happen with the Plex app. I have disabled all sound processing options like Loudness Leveling and Sweet Fades. Is there any other setting I have change to force Bit Perfect playback, or is this a bug?
Bit-perfect playback isn’t available yet, but we’ll be working on it in the future.
Will this be added to the Android/PC/Mac version to for bit-perfect playback via external DAC?
We will definitely look into sample rate matching for these sorts of cases.
Yes please!
This is a really important thing to work for us audiophiles of different levels.
My Dragonfly Red is also stuck at 48 kHz on my iPhone even with 44.1 kHz content.
If you could do exclusive access to audio interfaces on computers and switch sample rates automatically that would be great too.
Hello
Please take this as my vote for Bit Perfect playback too. This is very very much required/desired.
I’m looking at my Chord Mojo and my DragonFly unfortunately locked onto 48kHz via iOS and its making my soul cry.

The improvements in the recent versions of PlexAmp are excellent. Please keep up the great progress and thank you!
Looking forward to this, also noticed everything outputting at 48 kHz my with iPhone and Dragonfly Red DAC.
Please, consider this as another vote for this feature! I’m loving how Plexamp works but using my DAC to its full capability would put it over the top!
