In the new iOS experience, the Downloads area has moved - no biggie… bummed that my artwork didn’t persist at all either… but my two biggest issues now are as follows:
1: After a movie plays to completion, the app returns to the Downloads page - but is them prevented from going to sleep - like, the app is telling iOS to keep the screen on indefinitely, despite nothing playing any longer.
2: The sort order of the downloads is abysmal… there is no grouping of episodes of a TV Series, just sorted by title, AND, to make matters worse, the words “the” and “a” are incorrectly taken into account for sorting, so if you wanted to watch “The Birdcage” or “The Accountant”, you would have to navigate to the letter T, rather than B or A like everywhere else.
3: By default, a selection just keeps playing over and over again - all night long… I have to manually set a “sleep” timer to sleep at the end of the file… this is kind of silly, no?
That said, aside from a few minor little issues here and there, I do like the new experience very much. Cleaner UI, pretty snappy UX. Well done, other than these Downloads oversights.
