When i go to podcasts and select 'my podcasts' or 'my stations' i get 'cant connect to server, try again later , or ' cant sign in please re enter your apple id'. i can browse, play and subscribe to any podcast, but i cant open those two menus. Any ideas why this is?
Second, i have home sharing enabled, but i cant play anything from the main menu there, it doesnt even load up artwork. If i go to plex on the ATV and into channels, i can browse and play music from my itunes library there, and the track i just played will come up on the main home share menu (less the album art) so there is some kind of communication going on, this wouldnt be a problem other than my final issue -
I can only play one track at a time in plex, in an album it wont play the next track automaticly, so i cant just press play then go off and do something. Ive tried 'subscribing' but this doesnt make it play through more than the track selected.
I run a vpn, and as long as i start plex connect before connecting to the vpn i dont have any connection issues. (that im aware of)
Could it be a conflict between plex and itunes as its trying to share my music with the ATV and plex at the same time?
I am running Plex connect 3.1+, PMS 098.18.29011b7fdd, windows 7 32bit, 192.168.0.3 host machine.

See advanced section of the wiki for VPN issues, essentially the VPN creates other virtual interfaces that can confuse auto discovery but you can remove this issue by changing advanced settings.
The music section in PlexConnect is very experimental and does not play more than one track at a time, use the native apps for music for now.
The other issues should not be related to PlexConnect if your other apps are working but it is very hard to tell without you posting the information requested in the "read before posting" sticky ;)
Ok i will turn off the i tunes channel and go back to the native app as suggested. I will read through the wiki on vpn's too and have a play around, cheers.

The iTunes and iPhoto plugins can be turned off by deselecting them in the settings of the PMS Media Manager. Not sure if they are in normal or advanced settings as I am not at home at the moment.
yes its there, i just thought i would un install it, and use the native music app as advised. Looks like i will have to leave it installed though, as it wont uninstall for some reason. Dont know why.

I found this post, but i dont think its really what im after.
Seems i can use the native music app / home share, when not on the vpn, also i can use i remote and control it from my i pad, but i cant do this with the vpn on.
