Not possible to change the English Audio track.
I have 2 audio tracks, AAC Stereo and DTS 5.1 AAC Stereo playing, and no way to change to DTS.

Finally borrow a iPhone to enter the Testflight! Anyway it seems quite unstable so Iāll wait for more app update.
Btw, any good free way to losslessly remux MKV to MP4?
I tried ffmpeg -i input.mkv -c copy output.mp4
But the output MP4 file always has only 1 audio track and no embedded subtitle. How to keep all audio and subtitle tracks in the original MKV?

If youāre just wanting to remux and not re-encode then look at the app Subler. You can batch remux without encoding (lossless). Youāll keep all audio tracks you want to keep as well as subtitles
You just need -map 0 to copy all streams
ffmpeg -i input.mkv -map 0 -c copy output.mp4
ā¦but I would stay with MKV and wait for the App to handle MKVs. Use the Plex App in the meantime.

Thanks for the advise. I did more search and found that -map 0 option. But it seems still some format of audio and subtitle tracks are not supported in MP4.
Yes, Iād like to stay in MKV so I will wait a bit for this new app to mature.
That Plex Preview app is always out of quota on Testflight.
Subler is the best way to easily remux but if you wanna do it manually then follow this:
(assuming all codecs are compatible)
ffmpeg -i movie.mkv -c:a copy -c:v copy -c:s mov_text movie.mp4
if using Dolby Vision, add -strict unofficial
if using hevc, add -tag:v hvc1
This command may require expanding for complicated multi track media

I made a custom tvOS codec profile for the Plex server to help Genus deal with mkv files.
For me, it fixed HEVC mkv playback and partially fixes subtitle control. It may also help with multiple audio tracks.
HDR/DV in mkv is still broken though.
on macOS, put the attached tvOS.xml in /Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Profiles and then restart the server and test. (Create a folder called profiles is missing)
If it works for you guys, Chris might be able to implement changes directly in Genus.

I accepted my invite on my Mac (and then went to my AppleTV and downloaded the app).
It does free up occasionally.
Took me awhile to get Apple TV Plex Preview on TestFlight. Very buggy, the Roku Preview (now released) was updated frequently. The Plex Apple TV Preview needs a lot of work.
Just wanted to jump in and say thanks for the all the great feedback! This past weekend was my wifeās birthday so I was otherwise engaged, but I will be working on Genus again this week, so expect updates!

That (Apple way of doing tabs/sidebar) makes sense.
Consider having 2 Cards visible for Continue Playing, and showing when App in on the Top Row

Update on CC in MKV (from Plex DVR that I convert from MPEG2 to MKV)
I can get the CC to always display with ON, but Auto does not display CC on 10 sec Replay.

Quick question; is the app supposed to work for a āfriendā of my server)?
I just tried this. It connected OK, sees the server but shows no libraries (which work when using the Plex app).
I suspect this is due to how the app currently caches local servers. Chris is going to be changing to direct access which may resolve. For now Iād suggest posting this issue on the github
