This CPU issue is a serious issue for MacOS users. Please look into this.
I have posted my cpu samples and log files, I hope this helps.
I really want to use newer versions of plex, but it cripples my iMac.

I’m running Version 1.15.1.791 on my iMac (10.13.6) without the cpu problem you mentioned. Not saying you aren’t having a problem, just wanted to let you know.

I also just installed Version 1.15.3.876 on a Mac Mini (10.14.4) and I am not having any cpu problem on it.
