I’ve been using Plex to collect up all my family videos over the past few years. Most are recorded on an Android mobile phone & are mp4 H.264 with AAC audio. All played fine on all devices until a recent Plex server update. Now Plex player on my mobile phone (Android) & Firestick won’t play audio (only on the videos recorded on my mobile phone, the others are fine). Plex player on windows or the Web App plays the audio on the affected videos no problem. The only significant change in my setup or the files itself is the Plex update & I’ve lost a huge amount of time trying to uncover a solution in the players or server. Everything worked fine before the update which has effectively crippled our viewing of the files. My Plex Server runs on a Windows 10PC.
Update: I have now got the sound to play on my Android phone Plex Player by changing the sound settings to play no more than 2 channels. No such luck on my Firestick.
