Ability of Plex

Dear all,

I have several question about Plex and my installation.

First you will find below my hardware

  • Plex server is install on my NAS Synology DS414J.
  • Home cinema is AVRX1000 Denon ( connected to the network)
  • TV SAMSUNG UE55F6500 smart TV with plex app install

1st problem
Now plex is not accessible since an external computer via the NAS since update. (Before it was working) . I can connect to plex via plex web app but at home page it is write that the server is not accessible.
On the other hand Plex is accessible via my phone. How can I do ?

2nd problem
Plex not detect the home cinema in DLNA ( no player found) however my Denon is on. How can I do ?

1st question
Is it possible with my phone (or computer with Cortana) to ask to Google assistant to play a video on my TV with plex ? Because for the moment it is not possible.

2nd question
My NAS is not enough powerful for Plex server. Witch item is the best to install plex server ?

  1. Have you checked to see if you have require secure connection? Under Settings->Server->Network-> at the top, Secure Connections. Make this Preferred, not required.
