Ability to Change UI Colors/Theme

I really think it would be nice if you can change the Color of the Web-UI or at least the ability to select from a selection of themes to what you want instead of what Plex wants…

And maybe even the ability to have different Colors for Each libarary

Colors you should be able to change

1. Background
2. Menu Bar on Side/Top
3. Item(s) Selected
4. Number of Unwatched Items

I really don’t like the new UI color for the new release and i’m sure others do.

There’s actually an existing suggestion aiming for an option to allow replacing the focus / highlight color(s) used within the apps. That hasn’t however gained much support/attention since it was raised.

I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing votes (and attention).

Custom UI "Highlight" Color

Would be sick if I could pick a custom color (to sub for the “Plex Orange”) that would be found across the UI for all users, or each user could pick their own color, idk. In settings, to give us a color wheel/custom hex value input for picking a color. As much as I like the Plex Orange, Blue and Grey look pretty dope.[plex.PNG]

Allow switching of Themes/Skins for Plex Media Player Desktop

I would like to see Plex Media Player for desktop allow users to choose between current Plex Themes from different platforms like iOS, Apple TV, Android, Roku etc and also allow user created themes and UI’s. Plex Media Player would benefit from having a community of people who skin/theme to add diversity to Plex Media Player. The resources being used for OpenPHT could also be used to further user skins/themes for Plex Media Player once opened up (hopefully). What do you think? Could we open up…

If the Plex Media Player Desktop is/includes the Web UI then yes.
