I have a smarthome zigbee2mqtt, python, not much but some homeassistant. I would like to have an option to lock a plexamp player to allways connect and control an headles or other player that i choose. Now i have a 24" android tablet on the wall that has fully kiosk player so i can send a command to bring up plexamp when i initialize play either from automation or a device but if android/ipad has killed the instance of the plexamp it will open up to local player not the remote one. It would be cool to set a player to remote mode in the settings and to the playlist/playing mode. Now when I start a remote play plexamp will open on the tablet but most of the time not connected to the headles plexamp running on linux connected to whole house music system (automated by llm and mmw detectors)
Also there should be an option for easier removal of songs from the list if the screen size is larger than phone. Now slide to remove works unreliable
Here is a video (no video because forum does not allow one but) where i initialize playback on my phone and plexamp opens up ok. Most of the time plexamp will open not connected to the headles player. I do not play songs on this device ever so i would like to disable local playback and only control playback if possible?
All i want to do is controll the palyback on the device without the need to choose the player that i am going to controll. The playback is initialized from anothert place. Ok we have some mayday celebrations in finland so thats why repetition…happy mayday all!
