There are a lot of people who are both actors and singers. I suggest merging the information of such people so that when clicking on the profile picture of a person, it shows both his film and television works and his music works
Just to clarify… you want to be able to display (music) albums on the People pages in addition to the existing media such as movies and shows?
I suppose the tricky part about that is to actually linking that information. There’s a lot of same-named actors/artists who are not the same person, so Plex will need to depend on some unique identifier for both worlds – and while a number of artists have their own IMDb ID, that won’t be the case for everybody; nor will the music metadata providers necessarily reference IMDb for music releases.
Not saying this cannot be done but sharing my 2ct that it’ll probably a more complex endeavor (especially considering how many users rely on embedded metadata for their music).
