I discovered a pretty boring problem with handling of artists !! Plex restricts it by media type which is completely stupid and non sense !! Let’s say I have an artist A that is a singer ! It appears in my music library and I get his bio, everything ok. Now that singer is also an actor and so present in some of movies in my library. If I do a search on that artist name, it’ll be listed two times by plex (both in Music library and one in Movies libraries) as two actors ! I guess it’s linked to fact it’s not able to display a mix of music and movies medias on same page but would be very great to be enhanced 
Similar: Plex unable to handle correctly tracks/album with more than one artist is so frustrating and there since day one
