Absolute Episode Feature Enhancement "a00s00e00"

The absolute episode thing seems so simple to fix by simply adding an Absolute variable before the Season/Episode standard. This would handle the situation of specials sitting in the middle of seasons which is a pretty normal occurrence in Anime and BBC TV shows. How to escalate this to Plex or build a plugin?

Formate:

Absolute Episode = a00
Season Number = s00
Episode Number = e00

Examples:

**Season 2 last episode: **
Initial D 2nd Stage - a39s02e13 - Changing Seasons
**Special Episode before Season 3: **
Initial D Extra Stage -a40s00e01 - Beyond The Impact Blue

i believe xbmc can insert eps in between others but plex can’t
your use of seasons implies tvdb numbering, so is the episode showing correctly in TheTVDB absolute numbering ?
If so, use hama and force tvdb id with tvdb5 mode.
You could modify my scanner to recognised with regex this numbering and use absolute numbering then otherwise…
