I am having trouble with my Plex server on the Nvidia Shield 16gb model.
I am currently converting most of my Blu ray collection in either mkv or mp4 and storing on a NAS drive. The problem is playing sound when it is either AC3 or TrueHD. When using the original file it plays with no sound but once transcoded it plays sound but its not the best and want to have the best option.
I have been able to convert the files into DTS with seperate software but dont want to do this as it is very time consuming.
I can play the files on MX player pro and get the glorious sound so it has to be Plex.
I have passthrough turn on as well and sound improvement turn off.
Any help?
