I am trying to activate an Android app to be able to use my media server. It offers me to pay for it and chooses a wrong google account (I have two). I am not using Google to sign in, so I am not sure how the choice is made and how to change the Google account. I have double checked that the app is imstalled using the correct account (account A), but for payment the app chooses wrong account (account B). Any ideas how to change the google payment account?
Go to your desktop computer and sign into the Gmail account you wanted the Plex app to be purchased. If it’s not listed as a purchase or subscription then log out and login into the OTHER account. If you purchased it with the wrong account in the previous 24 hours, you can fill out a refund so you can redo purchase with the correct account. Additionally, you can report an issue with the incorrect account via the REPORT A PROBLEM button next to Plex.
the issue here is when trying to make the purchase, there is no selection to choose which google account to use. i have multiple google account in my device. please reference my screenshot below, the block portion is the google account to associate with the purchase. on my other google account i have payment methods set.
The purchase will be bound to the Google account afterwards. Your Plex account doesn’t matter in this case.
So you must be using the Google account into which your phone has been booked, so it can confirm the purchase and activate the app.
thanks for the reply. but the issue is there is no option to select the google account. the apk automatically chooses the last google account in the list. and there does not seem to be a way to choose the google account.
