I’m trying to install Plex on my Roku but need an activation code and don’t have one I signed up for Plex a while back and can no longer find my activation code. Can anyone tell me how to find it

NO! I got an a email with an option to add Plex to my Roku, but in the past I must have signed up for Plex and didn’t write whatever code that was given me down . I went to add Plex to my Roku account and was asked for a activation code. When I tried to sign up for plex and activation code was generate but it would not accept the activation code that was given to me when I tried to add it to Roca  so now I don’t know what to do.

There is no activation code needed for the app. I wonder if what you are seeing is the activation PIN for your Roku account to allow purchasing an app. It’s a parental feature so that your kids don’t accidentally buy a channel. If you don’t remember what that is, you’ll need to go to your roku.com account and check if there is a way to reset it.

I tried but found that removing and reinstall the app had no effect.  I’m still unable to connect Plex to roku and activate it.

I took the app. off and then reinstalled and activate it.

And tried to activate it again but can’t put code in to make it work

Can you upload a picture of the code it is asking for? As the others have said before there is no activation code for Plex for Roku. there is however a pin that is required to link the roku device to your plex account. If you could take a picture and post it here so that we can see exactly what you are talking about this would greatly help us solve your issue. I look forward to hearing from you so that we can get this resolved for you.

Perhaps you can attach some screen shots/ photos of what you are seeing

If you are referring to the link code. Visit https://www.plex.tv/link/, log into your Plex account, if you aren’t already logged in, and enter the code there. Please note the code is temporary, so you need to do this within a few minutes of generating the code, otherwise, cancel and sign in again to generate a new code. For future reference, that link is also shown on the screen.
