For days now I’ve been trying to resolve a problem with movies taking forever (ok 20 sec) before they started playing, and upon playing after a few seconds it would buffer another 20 seconds or so before trying again, ulitmately failing or me giving up. Had I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the FireTV app, it could have saved a lot of time and headaches.
That being said, I have a different issue that’s been present for a while now.,
When selecting a movie, I am no longer seeing actors’ photos/images; instead I am only seeing their initials. Furthermore if I select one of the circles with the actors’ initials in it, it doesn’t bring up the other items that person has appeared in.
I don’t have this problem when playing from my desktop using Firefox–the images are there, and selecting a picture will bring up the other things they have appeared in. This only seems to be happing on my FireTV products (FireStick 4K and FireTV).
Is this a bug? Previously reported? If not, suggestions on fixing? TIA
