Actor Steven Kampmann continues to show up in Plex under a pen-name he once shared with a writing partner instead of his actual credited name. There has been a picture of him on TMDB with correct information for years, and every database (TMDB, TTVDB, IMDB) correctly credits him as Steven Kampmann (with photos), so I’m confused as to why this exists like this. Every one of his acting credits shows the name Bobby von Hayes instead of Steven Kampmann and no picture. Can someone help figure this out? It’s been an ongoing issue with this actor. Thanks!
My guess is because this incorrect entry at tmdb https://www.themoviedb.org/person/28171-bobby-von-hayes has an external id linking it to imdb.
I’ll file a request with the tmdb admins have it removed and merged with the correct tmdb entry.

No problem, hopefully it’ll fix it. I see one of the admins has deleted it so give it 48-72 hours for plex to pickup the change.
FYI… think its all good now. At https://watch.plex.tv/person/steven-kampmann I now see
You may need to refresh the metadata of the movies on your own plex server but it should be all sorted now.
