Has anyone encountered issues that when you click on an ACTOR while in the movie to see the others they star in, it doesnt show but a few of them?.
I noticed that their list changes when in a DIFFERENT movie, you select the same actor and then it shows you a bigger list.
For EX.
Elliott Gould & Ethan Suplee in the Movie : American History X
Both actors appear in the movie, so when i select ELLIOTT GOULD, it should show for example the movies of OCEANS 11,12,13, BUT it only shows, The Big Hit, Bugsy and Contagion… So essentially its missing a significant amount of Filmography.
Has anyone noticed this issue?
Its been going on since March 2022. I figured it would be addressed in an update.

have you refreshed metadata for the entire library recently? some of your movies might have old metadata so the actor ID is different on movies you added recently via movies you added a long time ago. This was an issue and a refesh was needed but can’t remember at the moment if it was in march

I have done officially the full plex dance yet again. I spread out also the files inside the server to evenly distribute ( since its the only other thing i thought, over crowding files within the files) Now is evenly distributed.
Did refresh and still… ALTHOUGH sticking with the same ACTOR ELLIOT Gould, NOW i do see for example the oceans Movies (which didn’t show previously like mentioned) but not the rest.
This honestly is not an issue, or impedes the use of the PMS, just thought i might ask if it was a possible issue for others. I haven’t seen anyone else complain about it, but i do appreciate you taking the time to answer with a suggestion.
