Plex Pass user here who started to use some of the ad-supported streams. There’s a lot of good content, and I appreciate that.
My request/comment is that I feel Plex needs to do a far better job targeting ads on these VOD/streams. For instance, kids TV shows (e.g., Care Bears from the 80s…) should not be shown repeated ads for online gambling. It’s clear these ads are targeting kids; the young huckster using slang like “no cap” and all… yikes, Plex. What next, Gumby hocking smokes and the Smurfs pushing tequila?
Far from a puritan here, but c’mon. I’m fine with ads – for other kids shows and even the usual Bob Ross channel – but seeing the gambling junk makes me wonder what other poorly-targeted ads will randomly pop up on the screen.
