At present, once you watch one episode of a series - the next episode gets added to the front of the Home queue. This is what you would want if you always binge watched every single episode of a certain show.
However, if you prefer to watch one episode of a show at a time, then watch the next episode of the show you normally watch after the show you just watched - at present Plex makes you scroll all the way to the end of the shows in the Home queue to pick up the next episode of the different show.
So, instead of ordering the Home queue in the way it is currently ordered - of there was an ability to sort it the other way - when you watch a show the next episode would get added to the end of the queue instead of the beginning and you would simply be able to choose the first show in Home instead of scrolling all the way to the end.
There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to continue watching the next episode from the next show in Continue Watching instead of the next episode of the show that was just played. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
