Does anyone know how you can add the names of the actors manually to the database of a movie or series?
The other data can be added but I can’t find it about the actors

Plex will read embedded cast information from mp4/m4v/mov containers.
As for the database… you might be able to overwrite the information in metadata_items.tags_star – though, given that’s just a sequence of text, there’s probably more to it and editing the db has risks: e.g. you’ll lose your changes when refreshing metadata.
Why not fix the data at its source – e.g. on The Movie Database?
