Add 'Edition' field to Music libraries

In my music collection, I have CDs that are the same album but different editions.
Examples:

• Megadeth - Youthanasia
• Megadeth - Youthanasia (2004 Remixed & Remastered)

or bonus tracks

• Bon Jovi - This House Is Not For Sale (Walmart Exclusive)
• Bon Jovi - This House Is Not For Sale (2CD Deluxe Version)

My request is to add an ‘Edition’ field to Music libraries just like in a Movies library. Thank you.

There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to support different releases of the same album. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.

Better support for multiple versions of Music Albums

I’ve got a lot of different versions of albums in my collection (original release, Deluxe Editions, versions from other markets and so on), although the versions are represented on discogs (which I believe is one of the sources for album info) I generally only get 1-2 options in Fix Incorrect Match, and frequently not the option I’m looking for. I’d like to see better support for this.
