Add joined order to Plex episode odering

There does not seem to be an option to sort episodes by Joined Order as shown here in SpongeBob Squarepants’ seasons on the TVDB. This is causing an issue with how they are being displayed since the only options are “Aired Order”, “DVD Order”, and “Absolute Order.”

e.g.
I have the first three episodes combined into a single file:
S01E01 - Help Wanted
S01E02 - Reef Blower
S01E03 - Tea at the Treedome

But naming the file: SpongeBob SquarePants - S01E01-E03 - Help Wanted + Reef Blower + Tea at the Treedome for some reason only displays episodes 2 and 3, but not 1.

It would be preferable to have them in “Joined Order” and displayed as: SpongeBob Squared Pants - S01E01 - Help Wanted / Reef Blower / Tea at the Treedome, since that makes more sense in this use-case.

Make sure to use the Plex TV Series agent and refresh the metadata of the entire show. With that, you should have the option to select the alternative episode orders from TheTVDb.

TVDB Alternate Orders

As of Plex Media Server version 1.40.4 (and when using the Plex TV Series agent), it is possible to set the appropriate episode order for a TV series (based on alternate orders available from The TVDB for that series), after it has been successfully matched. Thanks, Tom. I didn’t realize that this was just pushed in update 1.40.4. I apparently need to update my plex version and will try this out once that’s complete.
