Add Support for m4a Chapters

I have a few audiobooks in m4a file type. They have chapter information in the file (shows up in MPC-HC and VLC), but in Plex, the chapter info doesn’t show up. It would be great for the Next button to go to the next chapter.

Just checked this. In PMP it is aware of the m4a chapters. You can skip to the next one using the keyboard shortcut. (in windowed mode its alt-left/right arrow)

In iOS client I didn’t see a way to adjust the chapters in my audiobook (music) library. So, I renamed it an .mp4 added it to a movie library and I could change the chapters just like any other mp4. (since m4a and mp4 are the same container file just)

Just to clarify, it seems like plex supports them, just no way to expose them in the UI.
(and would also be nice if it pulled in the chapter title, not just Chapter #)

Its also possible that due to the many players they offload the handling to the OS, so you get the playback capacity that the OS has. So some OS’s could get support some others not.
