[Suggestion coming from Upnp folder 'By Collection' under a music library stays empty]
While quite limited compared to the full plex experience with a rich client, DLNA can be quite useful for closed hardware such as media streamers. The problem is that browsing on such devices is usually very painful for massive libraries.
One way to improve the experience has already been suggested through additional subfolders (DLNA Music - folder re-org) that plex media server would generate.
I think we have a better tool for this : collections. Using collections, we can add as many “folders” as we want in a very flexible way. So for example, doing the alphabetical breakdown would just be a matter of creating 26 collections (or… much more for non romanized artists 
).
So we’re already empowered but with just one little restriction that I would suggest to tackle : Collections work but smart collections do not.
Please add support for smart collections in upnp folders. This way we could enjoy the full benefits of maintenance free collections.
