There’s already a similar suggestion discussing an option to add bookmarks to videos. There’s also existing suggestions focusing on tagging sections of videos and a way to share such clips / snippets / link to them.
Unless you’re looking for something entirely different I suggest you comment/vote in those threads in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Not sure if possible - but since Plex can store where I left off viewing -- can it add bookmarks or break points (like chapters or scenes) so I can find a highlight in a film? Tagging positions would be helpful for finding content. Thanks for any advice or feasibility discussion.
I’m already watching a lot of my media through Plex and being able to tag or keyword specific moments, so that in the feature I can just sort through a library or a list, a database, and be able to find some sort of funny or noteworthy moments would be amazing.

I was thinking that it might be a fun idea to be able to share a small clip of a particular tv show or video in your plex library through a public link. I wanted to just share a particular scene of a show with someone over IM and thought that this would be an easy way to do that. I would think something similar to the timecode URL with youtube would work or some sort of interface through Plex Web could do it where you input the start and end time within a particular show and then it would produc…
