On both the android version and the web version, the icon that lets you add things to your watchlist is no longer there. Its also not possible to use the hamburger menu to add things to your watchlist.
If I search for a show that is available in one of my libraries, I can play it, but I cannot add it to my watchlist, the icon is simply gone. Here is the android version:
The desktop version is the same, the place where the watchlist icon would be is simply empty. I cannot add it at all.
Thanks for moving this to the right location, but it appears to ALSO happen on the web, not just on mobile.
Same exact issue with Plex server and Roku. The menu doesn’t have anything about the watchlist, and it was there 2 weeks ago. All of a sudden it’s gone. I also posted in the Plex server section, and the one difference is that when I look at a preview or watch a trailer, there’s a pop-up box that allows me to add something to the watchlist. When I go into my watchlist, I can remove something. But that’s the only way I can add something to the watchlist—the pop-up box while the trailer is playing gives me the option to add to the watchlist.
Same here, and I want it back!!! Why did they remove the add to watchlist icon? It was a mistake or it was deliberated? I didn’t notice until now, that I wanted to add a movie to the watchlist… I mainly use the web interface and it’s gone from there too…
I came here to see if it was happening to anyone else and to find a resolution. Unfortunately it appears the issue isn’t being addressed by Plex. The only way I can add anything to my watchlist is through the Plex app on my Google TV device. Frustrating.
