I can’t find a way to add a movie to my Watchlist. I swear this feature used to be there. I have options to add to a collection or add to a playlist, but no add to watchlist.
Is this for a movie on your server?
It should be next to the Play button when on the movie pre-play page.
If looking at the entire library, click on the three dots in the lower right corner of the movie poster.
What version of PMS are you running? I’m on 1.41.8.9834, the current public release.
Are you using the Plex Movie scanner and agent (the default) or the legacy agents/scanners? Edit the library → Advanced to see the options.
After my first reply I ran across this long thread: Plex Agent no longer working and Add to Watchlist option is also now gone - #278 by X_4357
Others are reporting the same problem, but root cause is unclear (from what I can see anyway).
Yes, I’m using the defaults and it’s a problem on every content item, not just some like I saw in another thread.
I’m running server version Version 1.41.9.9917
@Therealbrad Please double check your Library’s Advanced settings for this setting:
As stated in the setting help text, this may hide the Add to Watchlist action for titles in this Library.
This is checked. I have looked at lots of different content and none of it has the wishlist option. I see it in Discover, I see it on all other platforms. It’s just the web app (and Mac OS app which is essentially the web app in a wrapper) that’s missing it.
You need to uncheck it.
Same thing either way.
And if it did help in this case, I would say it’s a bug that I can add to wishlist on every other client except web.
I had to kick the server. I see the option now in the web app.
Kick?
*Visualizes OP going over and giving the boot to the server box*
That… worked?
In the late 80s I would have to slam my fist against the left side of my Mac Plus to get it to turn on. Old habits die hard.
