I created recordings of a web series that I love and I want to add it to my Plex media library. The show isn’t listed on TVDB. It also is not organized into a series\season + episode format (It was produced as one massive season with some holiday specials). Are there any agents for downloading metadata for such shows or will I need to do it manually? And, furthermore, how should I name these files? Just s01x01 and up from there for the full series (and possibly the specials as s00e01 and up)?
Are you determined to have them show up in your current TV Shows library? Or would it be okay if they showed up in a separate, different library?
If the latter, then simply put them in their own folder, naming them so they show up in alphabetical or numerical order according to whatever the series order is, and then create a new library from the Other Videos type, name the library whatever you like and add that folder to it.
Your new library will then show up in whatever Plex client you’re using.

That’s…not a bad idea. To be honest, I never thought of making another library for such items. I’ve always just had my Movies and TV Shows libraries. Thanks for the suggestion.
