Adding a podcast using RSS URL, in the latest version of the Android app. Seems to always fail the first time, and succeed the second time, at least on my small sample of 2 this morning.
Previously when it has failed I’ve filed it in the “ah well, podcasts are a new feature, it’s probably just buggy, they’ll fix it eventually” category, and essentially not used the feature at all, but it feels like podcasts have been around a while now and should work at least a bit?
I’ve seen suggestions that the xml in the rss feed is delivered in chunks and the Add times out - if that’s a thing, and isn’t getting fixed any time soon, the error message should at least suggest trying again, otherwise people will just give up and use a more mature podcast app.
I don’t know what an uno-bug is, but it was the only bug I could find in the categories. It’s almost like the devs don’t want you to report bugs!
