Hi @r100gs
Could you check under your “My Podcasts” section and see if that podcast is there? Apparently there is an issue in the Web client where it says it fails but it in fact it actually does get added.

Indeed, I could successfully add it with this link.
You just need to switch away from ‘My Podcasts’ and back to see it appear.

I’ve had an issue with two podcasts I’ve been trying to add via url in that they do get added, including artwork, description and amount of episodes, but the list of available episodes stays empty.
I’ve seen a lot of similar problems on the forum but no real solution, only a plex employee popping up at some time to “manually add the podcast in question” and the thread then being closed due to inactivity.
So here’s hoping you might add these podcasts too.
I`ve tried adding them via the apple podcast url, google podcast url and the rss-feeds, on the android app, the plex app on windows and the web app, all yielding the same result.

Plex show the podcast with description, picture and number of episodes, but the list of available episodes stays empty.

I am having a similar issue as well. When I add The Morning Stream to Plex, it adds the show. However it says 200 unplayed episodes, and when I click on the podcast it shows no tracks in both Plex Web and the Android app. My Plex server is on a Nvidia Shield Pro 2017 if that makes any difference. I did also try the link in another podcast app and it worked fine, so I know the link is working correctly.

Same problem here, with a different podcast. Saw the note about them showing up after some time, so I’ll give that a try and check in tomorrow. Never had this issue with any other podcasts.

it looks like this has been an issue for some time but it also seem to work for alot of people.
have they figured out if it’s plex not liking some podcast urls or is it some plex setups not add any urls?

Make sure the URL is correct and try again.”
I’ve tried using my RSS Feed https://feeds.simplecast.com/zjZttTFW but it keeps giving me the same fault. I’d really appreciate any help you can provide.

The same problem with my Plex Server. I can’t add https://anchor.fm/s/eeb9bec/podcast/rss or https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9hbmNob3IuZm0vcy9lZWI5YmVjL3BvZGNhc3QvcnNz.
I’ll always get the error message in logs, that there is a bad request with status 400.

I checked the DNS researches for my Plex Server and there is so DNS research for any Podcast URL. So I guess Plex can’t find the Podcast because there is no DNS research. I think this is a bug.
I am experiencing the same issue with a podcast that was on my podcast list up until this past Monday. I’ve rebooted the server, force refreshed the page and still continue to get the error telling me to check the URL. Any help would be appreciated on this. Count me among those who can’t seem to add a podcast.
My issue also has the fun issue of PLEX “losing” the podcast. Yes! A podcast that I’d listened to constantly, several times every week, has disappeared from the library and now I cannot add it back. I guess I won’t be switching to PLEX as my podcast platform, after all.
