Adding a season doesn't work correctly

I have added Battlestar Galactica (1978) to the plex server and wanted to add season 2. However it does not recognize it. Officially it is called Galactica and not Battlestar Galactica but most viewers (so do I) view it as season 2 of the original Battlestar Galactica.

How do I fix this so those 10 episodes in season 2 get added?

TVDB, TMDB & IMDB see these as different shows (as do I for what its worth). If you want plex to use their metadata sources then you need to have them as separate shows. See below links …

Now if you really really really want to have galactica as a second season off the original battlestar galactica then I guess you could manually edit within plex the metadata for it but I guess you need to ask yourself if you really want to go through that trouble.
