I am Premium account and using Plex.tv for years. I have need to move my files to a new computer and I have been attempting to setup new plex server. I went through all the fourum topics and have not been able to launch the plex wizard to create the server on my new computer. I have tried the recommendation to try [http://ip.add:32400/web] but this takes me to my account on a remote default server.
Summary: after loading the Plex server on my new computer and I run the WEB or Installed copy of Plex Server it asks me to login. Immediately after logging in to my account it takes me to my default server on another computer in a different location and on a different network. and does not launch the Plex Build Wizard on my local machine.
I don’t believe you will get the setup wizard for a second Plex server. You should be able to access the server by clicking on the “more” option at the bottom of the sidebar. If you need to claim it, go to settings, then where your old server is shown, it should be a drop down and you can select the new server, then configure it as needed.
I’m having the same issue No matter what I do plex always logs into my first server. No where in the settings does it let me add another server. I can add more libraries but not another server. If I logout and log back in I’m only given access to my original server.
In setting on the Left only my original server is available in the drop down
