Can't setup new server, old one is automatically shown

Server Version#:Debian 12 (bookworm)
Player Version#:1.32.7.7621-871adbd44

Hi all,

I have issue with adding new server in Plex.
I already have one Plex server in my home on QNAP NAS device and it’s added to my account.
But I also have dedicated server with OVH and decided to setup second Plex server there.
Installation passed OK but when I access setup page at http://mydomain.example:32400/web/index.html#!/setup , old name is automatically shown and when I click next step and browse folders, I can see that they are from NAS device.

So my question is, is there some step I am missing here?
I have Lifetime Plex Pass

Thanks for any input.

Make sure to access the new server „locally“ to finish the setup… that means accessing the server’s version of Plex Web from within the same subnet.

  • If you’re on the same machine… open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web in your browser
  • If you’re on a different machine in the same subnet… open http://[PMS IP address or host name]:32400/web
  • If you’re on a different network/subnet, you can make a local connection through a Remote Desktop session or using a SSH tunnel

3rd option worked like a charm. Thank you!
