I have a big problem on Plex and I don’t know how to solve it !
I had an old laptop with plex and a server on it and everything worked well !
But 2 weeks ago I decided to buy a new laptop and when I install Plex on it, I have no option to create a new server.
I don’t know what happen !
Please help me !
In order to complete the setup you need to open your Plex Media Server through its local IP.
If you’re on the same machine… open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web in your browser. If you’re on a different machine inside your home network, use http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web instead. This will bring up a wizard/dialog where you can name your server and link it to your Plex account (as well as creating your first libraries).
Once you “claimed” your server (=linked it to your Plex Media Account), you’ll also be able to access it from other Plex apps or via https://app.plex.tv/desktop.
Thank you but the problem is that when I go here, I don’t have the wizard/dialog window. And as I can’t create the server, I can’t add librairies…
I just have a section “my media” and when I click on it Plex offers me to download PLEX MEDIA SERVER which is the software I have downloaded before…

I don’t understand. My problem is that I can’t install the server.
I have no option to create it.
Ahhh it worked partially.
Now I have the server but when I add a library, Plex says it is missing… 
Finally it works well ! Thanks for your help !!
