I’m trying to add a TV Show to Plex but nothing is showing up

I already have a TV show called
Naruto Shippuden
2007, Series #79824
When adding another
Naruto
2002, Series #78857
I finally figured out it was adding to Naruto Shippuden instead of creating it’s own folder for Naruto.

Ah. You can fix that (if you didn’t already know) by going to the show level of Naruto Shippuden, and click the triple dot. Select “Split Apart”. That will spin off the newly added folder to it’s own entry you can correctly fix match on to get the regular Naruto.
In the future, I recommend you include the year each show came out in (parentheses) at the end of the folder name, such as Naruto Shippuden (2007). This will help the auto-match to avoid combining similarly named shows in most cases going forward.

I removed both shows then did a plex dance, added back Naruto first and it showed up as Naruto Shippuden, did a un match, then fix match with Naruto and then added Naruto Shippuden and all worked out
If you already determined the ID numbers for each show, why don’t you use them to give Plex a hint about proper matching? Instructions on how to do that are in the linked article above.
I did that both shows had different ID numbers but Plex still wanted to add Naruto to Naruto Shippuden
