I just wanted to make a post here about an error I now consistently get when I try to add an xTeVe tuner to Plex Live TV. At the very last setup step in Plex when adding the tuner where the channel mappings are, they are all enabled by default (with the correct mappings). When I try to save the settings to start the guide refresh, I am given the following error:
There was a problem saving your changes. Please try again.
Logs were not helpful, nor was this error message. Regardless of the verbosity. xTeVe and the sources used are all good to go as well.
After some trial and error, the following seemed to do the trick:
- Toggle the “Check all” box at the top of the channel mappings to de-select all channels, then click it again to re-select all channels
After doing this, the tuner settings saved and everything was all set.
This consistently happens to me whenever I need to remove and add the tuner, and I wasn’t able to find any working solutions through my searching. Hopefully, this helps someone and is just a UI bug in PMS.
