Adjustments to pages

LS,

Might it be possible, in the settings:extra section of plex server, at Movie pre-roll video, to let the user/admin, add (or delete) the feature in extra fields, in which the pre-roll video’s can be, instead of seperating with a semicolon or comma. it makes it more clearer.

Would you mind explaining what exactly you’re trying to achieve or what you’re asking for?
I’ve been reading your post back-and-forth several times and cannot make sense of it – sorry.

(difficult for me to translate it in english like i would be)

You know the Extra in the config menu.

the option: Movie pre-roll video is only one line (ex: /data/mov1.mp4;/data/mov2.mp4 etc etc)

would it be nicer, to make an option to add, or remove the pre-roll video’s with multiple lines (boxes)

i mean actualy, not in 1 whole line. If you want (like me) to have more then one or 2 pre-rolls, it will be hard to find one to remove, or detect a mistype…

I hope it’s somewhat clearer what i mean to say..

I assume the OP does not like CSV or Semi-colon separated values for listing all pre-roll movies. I bet the OP wants to have a much more human-readable way to select multiple pre-roll files. I’m guessing they would rather have a UI like in the Library’s “Add Library” menu, where you could either select an entire directory as a source, or select files one by one and each shows on a separate row.

Ideally, if I had more than one pre-roll, I’d create a list in excel, and save it as a csv, then upload this csv to Plex or just link to it on the disk. This would allow me to modify the csv in the future to add or remove it using a better UI.

Currently, since Plex only takes commas or semi-colons, I recommend you set up which one you want in excel, and then save to csv. then open in notepad or what not and copy the contents of it to paste into the Plex field.

Thank you for that option (never thought about it in that wat), inventive and indeed somewhat better to see what’s in it the last time i put it in.

thanks for the advice !
