Ads on the VOD service interrupt the content in the middle of a sentence and then fail to load, with the orange spinning wheel constantly spinning. When it does work the content resumes a few seconds after where the ad interrupted consequently the dialogue has been skipped.
Can you share how you’re accessing VOD? Is this through your web browser or a different Plex app?
Plex app on Android TV (NVIDIA Shield). App is up to date.
Ads load on my Amazon Fire TV ok but there are way too many breaks, seems to be every 10 minutes which is too much for a film. Even tv channels here go 15 - 20mins between ad breaks if not longer when showing a movie. Preference would be longer ads breaks and less of them, that way I can do something useful while they are on. 
UK content is poor compared to what you show you in the announcement blog post so I don’t think I’ll ever use it, just wanted to try it to see what it was about.
Content in Australia is equally lacking, advertised as 1000s but bearly 100. Hopefully it will increase.
