Ok, I have spent hours trying to figure this out and can’t so I’m asking…
I have updated to the newest server 1.3 (manually)
I have installed several adult agent bundles: vofik-kink, PhoenixAdult, Brazzers, AdultFilmDB.
And nothing matches names or box art.
I read on several forums about there being a “allow adult content” setting, but I have looked everywhere and don’t see it.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
That only applies if you’ve configured your library to use the Plex Movie agent.
What agent have you picked for that library of yours (see ⋮ > Manage Library > Edit... → Advanced > Agent)?
Using the Plex movie scanner, and I’ve tried each of the agent bundles listed above.
I don’t know any of those agents.
If you’re using Plex Movie, this will check the regular sources like IMDb and TMDb – except if you check the allow adult content option of that agent, it’ll also consider content that’s flagged accordingly on TMDb.
So if your adult content isn’t listed on TMDb, using the Plex Movie agent and checking allow adult content won’t do you any good.
If those other agents don’t work as expected you might want to check with their developers or whatever documentation they have.
