For some reason Plex is struggling to tag some of my Adult movies that already have robust TMDB tags. They aren’t on IMDB, but I don’t know why Plex is still struggling despite me using the correct filenames to force Plex to fetch from TMDB: Erasmus Orgasmus (2016) {tmdb-417805}.mp4. Is there anything else I could do?

Do you you have Include Adult Content enabled in the advanced settings of your library? If not I’d start with that.

Are your movies in a flat structure or folders for each movie? Try creating the folder Erasmus Orgasmus (2016) {tmdb-417805} and put the movie in that folder. Scan the library and see if it’s found.
Also, can you fix match the movie using tmdb id?
The files are all in a single folder.

Yes but your agent is wrong. You need to use the plex movie agent and not the movie db. The movie db is the old scanner and agent and you need to use the new one.
Still no matches found when using the “Plex Movie (Legacy)” Agent from the drop down menu.
Did you search for tmdb-417805 or just the number? Also Plex Movie is not the legacy agent, its the new one. I assume you have upgraded your library to use the agent.
Yes I just searched tmdb-417805 and still nothing.
I don’t know, that’s what is says on my server.
If it says legacy in the title then it’s the old one. Not sure how matching works on the old one, it’s so long since I’ve used it.

I’d guess your problem is that your library is not using the new agent so I’d suggest you upgrade the library to use the plex movie scanner and agent as per below.
