I was looking back over this archived thread and noticed the addition at the bottom that my requested feature was in fact implemented, months back. Somehow I missed this, but on belatedly trying it, it doesn’t seem to work.
If I use the normal library filter bar to select Unmatched movies, I get some value N of movies.
If I then go into Advanced Filters (what used to be Custom Filters) and pull down the first drop-down in the first group and select Unmatched with the default match criterion of “is true”, I get the same N movies showing, as expected.
But, if I switch that second drop-down to “is false”, I get the same N matches!
No amount of fiddling around with grouping and logical operations changed this; I always get the same N matching movies.
I encountered this with TV Series: Unmatched Episodes filter.
I fixed one of my entries by unmatching it, finding it again (for some reason it kept all of the data when unmatched), and matching it again manually.
Another entry, Tenjho Tenge - TheTVDB.com, could not be resolved despite following the same steps. Edit: I identified two other traditional TV shows which also could not be resolved, though I did fix a third. The episodes simply can’t be matched.
I’ll probably try completely removing the media and seeing if it recreates the same issue.
My episodes are all named properly a la Name - SxxExx - everything else.
