I recently updated my plex library to use the new metadata agent and I have noticed that the Aventure Time Specials use the season 1 name in season 1 order but are Specials and in the correct order just the wrong name and preview image
Can you provide file names and corresponding screenshot of plex? I suspect its an ordering issue.
Always look it up at TheMovieDB.org and TheTVDB.com
Then see if there are differences in the listed order. Then edit this show and set its “Episode Ordering” to the right source.
Then Refresh Metadata
the order is right its just the names of the specials that are wrong on plex
That doesn’t change anything.
Plex can only use metadata which are available at the two sites I mentioned above.
If the specials are not listed in the order you want at either of them, you can either renumber/rename your files or make up fake episode numbers and add your own metadata.
