Plex Agent has wrong specials content and order

Noticed since being forced to use the Plex Agent it screwed up the episode naming in my specials for Red Dwarf. It has S00E06 as Smeg Ups when it should be Can’t Smeg Won’t Smeg, but does have it listed as EP5. Also the special Promised land should be 23 but they have a part 1 of it as 100, and no part 2 listed. How do I get this data fixed? Below are the relevant links, one to the plex data and one to TVDB which is more to be trusted.

You need to change the Episode ordering to TheTVDB (Aired), the default ordering used by Plex TV Series is The Movie Database (Aired).

Actually you can choose TheTVDB’s Episode ordering for the whole library.

Thanks, but where is that? I don’t see the options you have. If it matters I am on PlexPass running off a Linux server.

You can choose which source to use at either the library or show level.

Library Level

  1. Edit the library
  2. Choose Advanced
  3. Scroll down to Episode Ordering.
  4. Choose either TheTVDB or The Movie Database.
  5. Save Changes.
  6. Refresh metadata for the library if Plex does not do so automatically.

Show Level

  1. Edit the Show (Pencil icon, show level, not season or episode levels)
  2. Choose Advanced
  3. Scroll down to Episode Ordering
  4. Choose desired ordering
  5. Save Changes
  6. Refresh metadata for the show (or library) if Plex does not do so automatically.
