As many have indicated in other threads, Cloud Sync no longer works.
I used to be a big fan of Plex, and I purchased Plex Pass both for Cloud Sync and to support them in hopes that they’d continue to provide quality features. Cloud Sync worked with Dropbox as the storage provided for almost a year. Then I built a completely new server and added a fresh install of Plex on it–tried to setup Cloud Sync and it’ll rarely even finish transcoding without Plex crashing. And even when it does finish, Plex never actually uploads to the cloud storage.
Stressing that this is with a completely new install on a different system. Seems pretty clear this is an issue on Plex’s end, and it’s been one for over a year now. Very disappointed, and only become more disappointed every time another update rolls out with more features when they haven’t even fixed the one I pay for.
My only hope is somehow submitting enough threads about this issue will get their attention so something gets done.
Anyone know of a place where Cloud Sync bugs are being tracked?
