PlexSync + Amazon, user injured

What saddens me is the plex show a new service based on Amazon means that induce users to hire a storage service part, and the old cloud service that was already not good, despite being sold as an exellent tool for anyone who is plex pass, you have the cost of hiring the service of amazon, not be invited to the beta PlexCloud and Cloudsync crashing, all the forum with complaints without concrete answers, nor solution, I am plex pass since 2013, the first time I need an enterprise solution, and anything concrete, nor a forecast …

If they are different tools, and cloud sync works, cause not working more, not in earlier versions of plexserver

It was good positioning of the company, and not from forum users

I am not an employee so please don’t take anything i say as 100% definitive and all-encompassing.

Amazon already has cloud storage included with Amazon Prime.

Plex Cloud beta is limited seating at this time because of the technical challenges. It will likely remain there, with the current limited seating, until the hurdles are overcome and it can be opened up to a wider audience. I do know new participants are added frequently. I have no details about how many there are in total or how many can be accommodated (that’s Plex-only info).

Plex, to my knowledge in the time I’ve been around, has never been an ‘enterprise solution’. It’s always been for home use. If you have an enterprise/commercial need, I think it’s in your best interest to contact Plex directly and bypass these forums as they are for end-users, not commercial use.

is not a matter of business use is concerned that Cloud Sync worked before, and now it does not. and does not have a solution, or a prediction, who entered the cloud plex is being served and who used the cloud sync is not.

Please share with me how Cloud Sync does not work for you.

Can you post your log files here? That will help me to understand

This may come off as snarky or just simply being a smartass, but all you have to do is check the forums.
Here’s a few links that have more than enough logs and documentation to be able to see what’s going on. If you need anything more, then just ask.

There is currently an issue uploading files to Amazon Cloud Drive. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Plex is working with Amazon to get things sorted as soon as possible.

MovieFan.Plex

What I do not understand, it is why before worked in previous versions and now does not work at all?

You can not say it was an update with bug because even even if you install a version which worked before, it no longer works.

It seems until to justify PlexCloud the plexsync was damaged on purpose

So after you have determined that CloudSync doesn’t seem to work, no matter which version of PMS you install. You have come to the conclusion that Plex, in an effort to drive customers to a Beta program (Plex Cloud) that very few can get into currently, has somehow made CloudSync not work on purpose.

How does that, to you, seem more plausible that a possible issue with the Amazon API that Plex uses to upload with to CloudSync, and that Plex is working with Amazon to resolve it?

Got it, then you can explain to me as before, worked normal and today does not work on any version of plex server?

Yes or no?

is a simple matter, announced a partnership with Amazon, many people contracted unlimited Amazon announced the plexcloud, the sync stopped working …
that simple

I love the plex am plex users pass the years, but do not think it’s fair, the support is bad, and always be on the look for forum users may have a solution

and hthighway buddy’m not so I do not, there are many many many users have not solved problems

plexpass not paid for anything paid for supporting the development, but I just users have better support, as not all have advanced knowledge to solve problems related to the plex.

Did you miss the part where I (and @MovieFan.Plex) mentioned there is an issue and Plex is working with Amazon to correct it. Further, if it’s with the Amazon API and how Plex uses it, the issue would affect all versions of PMS.

I’m not sure how much more clear it can be made…

just want a better attention to the user, someone who can give a prediction, it already for two months that Cloudsync stopped working, not whether there is a prediction

2 months for a repair of a tool that worked where there was no update, because even in previous versions no longer works

This is not an issue with a specific version of PMS, but with how PMS communicates with ACD. It’s the same method used before, there was no change in the code for this. It is just a coincidence that there was a PMS update around the time the issue occurred, which is why it use to work but not now and rolling back to an earlier version does not work either. Once we work out the issue, things will just start working again.

is seeing need not always be a solution, but only a contact with the user already makes us more peaceful

Thx man
