After choosing "Library", the UI displays the Library but highlights the "Recommended" option

  1. Select a video content type (e.g., “Movies”) from the onscreen menu using the television remote.
  2. At the top of the screen there is a “ ” menu. “Recommended” has an orange-ish underline and the panel below the menu shows recommended content.
  3. Navigate to the top of the display; a white background appears under “Recommended”.
  4. Navigate to the right to move the white background to “Library”.
  5. Press the “Select/OK” button on the remote to chose “Library”.
  6. The panel below the menu switches to the library content as expected.
  7. In the “ ” menu the white background shifts back to “Recommended” instead of remaining behind “Library”. If the remote is used to shift the white background to any of the other menu items (i.e., "Library, “Collections”, or “Categories”), the orange-ish underline reappears under “Recommended”, thereby providing an incorrect indication that recommended content is what is shown in the panel below instead of the library.

Please advise if pictures are desired.

So after you select Library the white highlight shifts back on its own to Recommended without you doing anything ?

Correct.

Disregard. I decided to take out the big hammer to fix the issue and completely uninstalled Plex from the Sony TV and reinstalled. The version is the same, but the issue has been resolved. Corrupted upgrade from previous version? An otherwise latent bug? Meh.
