Is this a server side bug? I’m seeing this in the FireStick, as well as via web browser. Currently, can’t even watch videos from this affected library on the FireStick as I can’t get to a library view.
On Firestick it is the Android app. afaik it was only an android issue not a server issue. In the web app I can still switch to another tab even if nothing in recommended
i don’t understand what you are showing me. the issue being reported by the OP is that they cannot switch back to the library tab which you clearly can.
depending on your Weeks for CW or max number in CW setting will determine if partially watched things will show in CW
I understand the message is a bit confusing and needs to be updated. If you disabled library rows and nothing in CW that message is expected right now.
Has there been any progress with fixing this, as it is really annoying.
If you accidentially choose the Recommended tab when nothing is checked to show you can no longer get to any content in that library without going back to the web app to ‘fix’ it
I’ve had this issue for over a year, kept posting help requests on here about it and no one can answer it! It’s killed Plex and this issue is exactly why i moved to Emby! The only way round it was to reinstall my whole library and waste 2 days doing so. Then it started happening 2 or 3 times a week so gave up! Unreal this is not fixed yet. Such a shame as the platform would be perfect if it wasn’t for this humongous bug!
The workaround by @beckfield doesn’t work for me. Still have the same annoying message.
I don’t know when it happened, but it appears to have been fixed. I have Server Version 1.23.4.4775 and Android-TV version 8.19.1.26306, and the problem I reported no longer occurs.
I was just looking through the release notes. That’s probably it, but if you hadn’t mentioned it, I would never have guessed it by the way it’s worded.
