Version 3 of my Plex Media Server is a computer running Windows Server 2012R2.
Version 4 of my Plex Media Server is a new Synology DS1010+
- I have copied all my movies and TV to the the new Synology NAS
- I have installed Plex version 1.19.3.2764-ef515a800-x86_64.spk
- Plex on the Synology now sees all my movies and TV Series - “woohoo”
The only thing I want to do now is restore the “RECENTLY ADDED MOVIES” list from the Windows Server to the NAS. I attempted to fix this by copying the file “com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-2020-05-08” from the Windows serer to the NAS and renaming it to com.plexapp.plugins.library.db and at first glance I thought this worked but then I realized Plex was looking for content in the path of the Windows Server “H:\movies” vs the path of the NAS “.Volume 1/PlexMovies”
Is it possible to restore this? I did read the FAQ but I’m not smart enough to understand FAQ 18. If this is to tough I may just remove the last 20 movies I added and then re-add them in order
