I received an email from PLEX (noreply@plex.tv) about a data breach and it suggested to change my password, so I went to the Plex website and requested a password change but now when I try and login to my Plex server via IP address :32400 I’m receiving the error, “Not Authorized You do not have access to this server” The Plex server was working perfectly up until I changed my password.
I’ve tried logging in to the Plex server using Firefox, Chrome and Edge, the latest versions as of 8/24/2020 but I receive the same error on all of them.
I rebooted my QNAP - that didn’t work
I shut down the server running on the QNAP - that didn’t work
I changed my password again - that didn’t work
I can access app.plex.tv with my new password but obviously by Plex server is not showing up.
Probably a dumb move, but in my frustration I uninstalled Plex, restarted my QNAP then reinstalled Plex, figuring I could set it up again as a new server but I’m still getting the same error as above. “Not Authorized You do not have access to this server”.
Any suggestions? I’ve even willing to start a new Plex server from scratch.
